Cooking schools abound in Thailand as many tourists like to learn how to cook Thai food. So Laura and I decided to take one together yesterday.
Our Teachers were Perm and Boom. (Not sure if that is how you spell them or not)
Laura and I both learned to cook about 3 different dishes and one the same.
Pad Thai, Drunker noodles, egg rolls, dipping sauces, Tom Yum Soup, Cashew Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Vegetable Stir Fry, and a few others that I'm coming up empty on at the moment.
Drunker noodles
Pad Thai Omelet
We also learned two new cooking techniques. This one is called adventure cooking, who said cooking had to be boring. That said, I don't recommend this technique for indoor cooking unless you increase your fire insurance policy.
This is what happened when we added our ingredients - different dishes the only common ingredient is water.
I didn't realize how easy it was to cook Thai food. It tasted better than most of the places we've been going lately. I can't wait to return home and try out our new cooking skills.
